In just a few days, there’ll be yet another Apple store in New York City: Apple Insider reports that the tech giant’s latest NYC outpost, located at the base of Two Trees’s rental building 300 Ashland, is due to open this weekend. Signage reading “We've got something special in store for you” has been installed at 123 Flatbush Avenue (the store’s official address), and Apple’s website confirms an opening date of Saturday, December 2 at 10 a.m.

It was around this time last year when the massive brand agreed to lease a 12,000-square-foot retail space on the ground floor of the 32-story building. The lease is good for 10 years, though Apple’s monthly rent remains undisclosed. The Fort Greene store is Apple’s 11th location in New York City and the second store in Brooklyn. The brand’s Williamsburg store, located on tourist-heavy Bedford Avenue, debuted in 2016.

As for 300 Ashland itself, it’s home to nearly 400 rentals, and also brought an expansive public plaza to an otherwise bleak and not wholly pedestrian-friendly stretch of Flatbush Avenue. It’ll also eventually be home to an outpost of 365, the more affordable offshoot of Whole Foods—that’s due to open sometime next year.
