This week’s Pricespotter apartment— a small studio in Hell’s Kitchen with plenty of natural light— is asking $549,000. Among the many guesses, it was stache who not only guessed the correct asking price but also knew that the apartment is located across from the landmarked Hearst Building.
There weren’t many complaints over the layout of this studio, however, there were a few gripes about the tiny kitchen and its lack of counter space. There was some doubt over the actual square footage, with folks like yankeefrankee and easternwestern asserting that the space appears to be smaller than 550 square feet.
Overall, easternwestern summed things up nicely, stating “Seems like a decent starter apartment in a desirable neighborhood. I’m hoping that room divider/screen thing looks better in person than it does in the photos.”
