French cosmetics giant Laura Mercier knows how to make quick real estate moves. In July, Mercier listed her two-bedroom Walker Tower apartment and just a month later, the home had entered into contract, selling for $10.6 million. Now, the makeup maven has moved on to a two-bedroom, two-bathroom in Chelsea that she purchased for $2.66 million and will use as her pied-à-terre, reports the Observer.

Mercier’s newest digs is located within the O’Neill Building and is much smaller than the 2,168-square-foot apartment she recently parted ways with. This particular apartment spans just 1,346 square feet and features a modest layout that includes high ceilings, an open chef’s kitchen with a 150-bottle wine cooler, a few original cast iron columns, and custom built-ins.

Mercier even managed to snag a bit of a discount: The original asking price for the apartment was $2.83 million, meaning she saved $170,000. Not bad.
