Just a month after the Trump Organization decided to walk away, the hotel-condo hybrid has a new name

In November, the Trump Organization announced that it was parting ways with Trump Soho, the hotel-condo hybrid on Spring Street, which has been struggling to attract guests for some time now. The owners of the building, the CIM Group, have now unveiled new branding for the 46-story tower.

On Thursday, construction workers were busy taking down the Trump Soho sign, and installing a new one, a tipster informed Curbed. The Real Deal nabbed the first photo of the newly installed signage, with the hotel henceforth being known as the Dominick Hotel.

Since the Trump Organization still had a number of years on its contract, CIM likely had to pay them a hefty sum to walk away from the development, but according to a New York Times story published in November, the Trump Organization may end up paying CIM if the hotel-condo hybrid doesn’t meet certain performance goals agreed upon as part of the exit deal.
