Earlier this month, Instagram released global data that gave some insight into the locations that its filter-happy users ‘grammed the most in 2017—and unsurprisingly, a bevy of New York City locations ended up on that list.
According to the app, the No. 2 and 3 spots for the most ‘grammed locales worldwide are Times Square and Central Park, which absolutely makes sense if you’ve ever wandered through Midtown on a weekend.
But we also wanted to know more about that other New York City locations that Instagrammers loved most, and so the app’s data whizzes provided us with a list of its 10 most popular NYC locations. And—surprise, surprise—many of the city’s top tourist traps, including the Statue of Liberty and the Empire State Building, ended up in the top 10. Only one location outside of Manhattan (the Brooklyn Bridge) made the cut, and Times Square was, of course, at the top.
