Apartments at Robert A.M. Stern’s 15 Central Park West are almost always ridiculously expensive, and are also almost always kind of bland, considering how much they’re asking. (See the $65 million duplex that looked like any old condo, or a more recent $59 million listing that’s lacking in photos, but probably looks like any old condo.)
The newest listing at the Limestone Jesus, however, bucks that trend: thanks to a makeover by design duo Pembroke & Ives, this three-bedroom apartment—currently listed for $23.5 million—is certainly not boring. It’s more modern than many of the 15CPW apartments out there, with Venetian stucco walls (perfect for that art collection, because of course that’s an amenity a 15CPW resident would need), a dark-toned kitchen, and spa-like, marble-free bathrooms.
Admittedly, this design is probably not everyone’s cup of tea, but we appreciate when an interior designer goes for something different—particularly in a building like this. In addition to the design updates, the space has a Sonos sound system, all mod cons, and lovely views of Central Park—it’s located on the 30th floor of one of the building’s towers, naturally.
