For $425,000, a cute Tudor City co-op with East River views

This small and modest studio has a few good things going for it

Welcome back to The Six-Digit Club, in which we take a look at a newish-to-market listing priced under $1 million, because nice things sometimes come in small packages. Send nominations to the tipline.

This small studio in Tudor City packs a lot of details into its compact size. Granted, it’s not the most spacious place on the market for its $425,000 asking price but when there’s generous storage space and views of the East River, it’s definitely worth taking a second look.

The floorplan for the renovated abode is simple and straightforward with a large living equipped with a Murphy bed by New York’s “premier Murphy bed manufacturer” as the brokerbabble puts it, followed by a tiny corner kitchen that is neighbored by a window that offers stunning views. When flipped up, the Murphy bed functions as built-in storage shelves and a dining table. In case that isn’t enough storage space, there are three large closets scattered throughout the apartment.

There’s not too much here to brag about but for great natural light, good views, and decent storage, it’s not too shabby. The monthly maintenance is just $767, not entirely unreasonably for the co-op.
