For $510K, a stylish Murray Hill studio that maximizes its small space

A small apartment with a somewhat reasonable price tag

Welcome back to The Six Digit Club, in which we take a look at a newish-to-market listing priced under $1 million, because nice things sometimes come in small packages. Send nominations to the tipline.

This cozy Murray Hill studio is proof that small apartments can feel airy and functional—assuming, of course, that the floorplan isn’t super weird and that the decor choices don’t overwhelm the space.

Both apply to this 500-square-foot apartment, which also has the benefit of bonus spaces—including a sleeping alcove that’s big enough to accommodate a queen-sized bed, and a walk-in closet just off the bathroom—that keep the living area clear. There’s also a bright, modern kitchen (with a dishwasher, because why not) and a spacious foyer.

Of course, it’s not without its quirks—the bathroom is accessible only through that sleeping alcove, for one—but this could be a sweet little studio for one person or a couple. The asking price is a not-so-outrageous $510,000, with maintenance clocking in at an addition $932/month.
