The current residence of the First Lady of the United States, aka Trump Tower, has registered its first sale since Donald Trump was elected the 45th President of the United States, Mansion Global has learned.

Though sales activity at the building has remained quiet since his election, it was anything but subdued prior to that. Earlier this month, The Real Deal reported that sales at Trump Tower had seen a spike since Trump announced his intention to run. The number of sold condos rose from 15 in 2015 to 22 in 2016, according to TRD.

And now 2017 has just started its tally. The unit that sold is a one-bedroom, one-bathroom pad on the building’s 32nd floor, measuring 1,052 square feet. The previous owner, who has ties to a Ukranian shipping company, purchased the apartment for $1.95 million in 2012, property records reveal.

The previous owner originally listed the apartment in early 2016 for $2.99 million, and when no buyers came forward, that price was reduced to $2.5 million, then dropped again to $2.195 million last summer. The condo went into contract in December 2016, and property records show that the apartment sold to an LLC for $1.9 million.

Trump’s wife and son will continue to call the penthouse at the glitzy building home until the latter wraps up his school year. Aside from its rigid security measures, Trump Tower was most recently in the news for an Airbnb listing going for up to $450 per night—possibly without the Secret Service’s knowledge.
