Williamsburg’s most expensive apartment is a $6.5M Oosten penthouse

It’s pricey but it’s definitely spacious

Apartment prices in Williamsburg are edging ever closer to those found in Manhattan. In late January, one of the townhouses within the Piet Boon-designed glass condo building, the Oosten, claimed the title of having the most expensive rental in Williamsburg so it’s only right that the most expensive penthouse sprung forth from the same building. A 5,097-square-foot duplex, seeking $6.495 million, is officially Williamsburg’s priciest apartment for sale, still a far cry from Brooklyn’s most expensive condo ever sold— a $10.7 million apartment at Pierhouse— but definitely not anything to scoff at.

So what is it about this abode that warrants such a pricey ask? Well, besides its extensive amount of square footage, there are six bedrooms, more than six bathrooms, a sleek open kitchen, a formal dining room, and floor-to-ceiling windows that provide views of the Williamsburg Bridge and Manhattan skyline. In addition to all of that, there is also a private elevator, private garage, and two expansive outdoor terraces.

Building amenities within the swanky building aren’t bad at either. Among them are a lap pool, library, 24-hour concierge, fitness center with spa, a courtyard, and a landscaped rooftop.
