What/Where: 1BR/1BA in the Upper West Side

Square Footage: N/A

Taxes/Common Charges: $1,512

This true one-bedroom on the Upper West Side is rather simple, and some of its rooms are a bit outdated—the kitchen, for example, has ’80s-style cabinets, while the bathroom could use a refresh. But those don’t necessarily detract from the apartment’s nicer aspects: it’s pretty large, there’s a not-insubstantial amount of closet space, and the building it’s in comes with a roof deck and a part-time doorman. (Those amenities explain the maintenance, which comes in at more then $1,500/month.)

As for the location, we’ll give you some clues: it’s less than a block from Central Park, and smack in the middle of the Upper West Side. So knowing all that, how much do you think it’s asking?
