Amid a spate of pricey closings at 432 Park Avenue, another high-floor, uber-expensive condo has come on the market at the Rafael Viñoly-designed supertall. This particular unit is located on the 81st floor, and is the unit directly above the $44.25 million condo that went into contract earlier this week.
Though the exact same size as its 80th floor counterpart, the condo on the 81st floor is asking $44.75 million (one floor higher has got to count for something right?) and is among the B Line residences at the building that begin at 992-feet above ground.
The four-bedroom, six-bathroom unit spans 5,421 square feet and comes with all the fancy fittings one expects of 432 Park Avenue units, especially when they’re located this high. Those include the master bedroom overlooking Central Park, the windowed marble bath, and the Miele stainless steel appliances and Dornbracht polished chrome fixtures.
In recent months, an 88th-floor penthouse at the Macklowe and CIM Group-developed building closed for $60.89 million, and an 85th-floor penthouse sold for $65.6 million. The building was in the news yesterday when Mayor Bill de Blasio decided to host a press conference in front of the skyscraper to push his mansion tax proposal forward.
