Chloë Sevigny sells Park Slope pad with Prospect Park views for $2.7M

The Big Love actress listed the apartment for $2.75M in November 2016

Just five months after listing her Park Slope pad, Chloë Sevigny has sealed the deal to depart from Brooklyn’s “dorkiest, hokiest neighborhood”—or at least the lovely Prospect Park West apartment she called home there. The Kids and Big Love actress listed the three-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment at 3 Prospect Park West in early November for $2.75 million, and just like that the sale hit public record today showing that it traded for an even $2.7 million.

The airy apartment was a real departure from Sevigny’s “womb-like” East Village residence, which she left in 2013 notably decrying the neighborhood’s population shift from “weirdos” and “outcasts” to “frat house” jocks. (The same can’t be said for Park Slope throughout Sevigny’s tenure, which if anything just needs a larger stroller lane now.)

Under Sevigny’s ownership, the Prospect Park West apartment has undergone a few upgrades that brought a polished concrete floor, new black countertops, and a subway tile backsplash to the kitchen. The apartment also lost its whimsical variety of wallpaper, and was repainted with more mute colors.

Corcoran brokers J. Eric Becker and Quinn Hagstrand represented the listing.
