Welcome back to The Six-Digit Club, in which we take a look at a newish-to-market listing priced under $1 million, because nice things sometimes come in small packages. Send nominations to the tipline.
It’s hard to find flaws within this 700-square-foot apartment that resides inside a prewar building in Ditmas Park, especially given that it’s asking just $399,000, which is somewhat of a steal for a one-bedroom in Brooklyn. Add to that, the charming abode resides on the top floor so there’s no need to worry about noisy neighbors above you. Let’s take a look at what else this space offers.
Judging from the photos, the ceilings are pretty high and natural light fills much of the apartment, namely the living room and oversized bedroom. There is a full kitchen that is equipped with stainless steel appliances (including a dishwasher) and a fair amount of cabinet space. Speaking of storage, there is plenty of it here. The living room hosts a massive wall of built-in bookshelves and the hallway is also decorated with lovely arched built-ins. The lack of floorplan forces us to use our imagination on how everything is laid out, but from what we can see, we’re impressed. To sweeten the deal, maintenance is only $477/month.
