It seems there’s a bit of a celebrity shakeup over at Riverhouse in Battery Park City.
Last month, model citizen Tyra Banks put her over-the-top 7,000-square-foot digs on the market for $17 million, and today, LLNYC has word that How I Met Your Mother star Cobie Smulders and her husband, former SNLer-turned-Hamilton-star Taran Killam have also listed their Riverhouse apartment for a comparatively modest $3.995 million.
The Smulders-Killam unit lacks some of the more extravagant features of Banks’s abode—it does not, for example, have a salon, a gym, or a mirrored dressing room—but it does boast an open floor plan with bamboo floors, three bedrooms with en-suite baths, and top-of-the-line kitchen appliances. It also comes with an adorable private deck, complete with views of the surrounding neighborhood.

But it’s not all exits: Academy Award winner Oliver Stone is currently in the process of buying an upper-floor unit in the swanky building, according to the New York Post’s “sources familiar with the deal.”
Listed at $4.35 million, Stone’s new and light-flooded corner abode boasts a lot of the same luxuries — hardwood floors, a luxury kitchen, and three sunny bedrooms with their own en suite baths — but with one important difference: staggering views of the Hudson from almost every room.
The Post’s “spies” say Stone, who is parting with this place in the West Village, was attracted to the residence for its sustainability—it is, per the listing, “one of the Greenest Condos in NYC”—but the building has plenty of other, less virtuous perks, too. Among the highlights: a yoga studio, a salt-water lap pool, a billiards room, a pet spa, and a “media cafe,” as well as a second-floor landscaped garden overlooking Teardrop Park. Elisabeth Mohlmann at Elegran has the listing.

And Stone won’t be the only Academy Award-winner with a Riverhouse address: Leonardo DiCaprio owns not one but two penthouses atop the building.
