Park Slope townhouse-condo hybrid on record-breaking lot, revealed

Get a first look at three townhouses that will rise on 13th Street in Brooklyn

Back in 2015, developer American Development Group purchased a lot on 13th Street between Sixth and Seventh avenues in Park Slope for $8.3 million—a figure that may not seem so huge, but for the fact that it represented a price-per-square-foot record for a development site in the neighborhood.

At the time, the plan for the site was to build condos and townhouses, though little else was revealed beyond that. But now, more details on the development—dubbed Park Court—have come to light. ADG has tapped Kushner Studios (no relation to either Jared’s Kushner Companies, or his cousin Mark’s firm Hollwich Kushner) to design the properties, and Curbed has the first rendering of the project.

The rendering shows the project’s first stage: three four-bedroom townhouses, which will have interiors by Penelope Kim Designs. The identical homes will also have plenty of outdoor space (in the form of a backyard and a roof terrace), media rooms, and their own laundry rooms.

Though details are still scarce on the condo portion of the development, we do know that it’ll share amenities with the townhouses, including a parking garage, a fitness center, and a courtyard that will connect the two. Sales for the townhouses are expected to begin sometime this spring (though prices have yet to be announced), while the condos will follow later this year.
