When we last checked in on the progress of TF Cornerstone’s massive development at 606 West 57th Street (or 610 West 57th Street, as it also goes by), the building was a couple of dozen stories about ground. Just three months later, construction has officially topped out on the Arquitectonica-designed project.

Spanning 1.2 million square feet, 606 West 57th Street will offer 1,028 apartments averaging over 900 square feet. The building will offer amenities that include 400 parking spaces, 550 bike storage spaces, a pet spa, basketball court, outdoor theater, rooftop garden, and more. The ground level will give way t0 37,000 square feet of retail space.

The project was initially scheduled to open in 2017, but has now announced an anticipated debut for sometime in 2018. Its neighbors along Midtown West’s “Billionaire’s Row” include Bjarke Ingels’ tetrahedron Via 57 West, and the starchitect collaboration project, Riverside Center, being helmed by Richard Meier and Partners Architects, Rafael Viñoly Architects, and Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates.
