Olympic snowboarder and noted redhead Shaun White is parting ways with his East Village penthouse, according to the New York Post.

Currently listed at $2.799 million, the gold medalist’s soon-to-be-former digs boast two bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, and several walls worth of floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the Manhattan skyline.

The listing itself is a little short on details about the actual unit—it’s got 12-foot-plus ceilings, a private terrace, and an open floor plan, which pretty much covers it—but the pictures confirm that the apartment is indeed rather nice, if a little light on architectural charm. The views appear to be spectacular, as promised, and while the master bedroom is on the smaller side, the idyllic patio looks like it more than makes up for it.

The building itself, meanwhile, is equipped with a whole host of rather luxe amenities, including a gym (convenient, if one is an Olympian), a rooftop garden/lounge area, and a 50-foot rooftop swimming pool.

Between taxes and common charges, the monthly fees are on the higher side—$3,059/month in total—but then, someone’s got to pay to maintain the “vibrant pool scene.” And if you’re not ready to buy, there’s another option: the unit is also available as a rental for $9,500/month. Steve Duggan at Citi Habitats has the listing.
