A few blocks away from the southeast corner of Prospect Park, a new condo building is now offering up 71 condos from $430,000. Sales got underway earlier today at 2100 Bedford Avenue, a new ground-up condo building in Prospect Lefferts Gardens.
The eight story building’s 71 apartments come in studios through three-bedrooms and prices range from the above-mentioned $430,000 to $1.2 million. Among the apartments currently available on the building’s website, prices range from $435,000 for a studio measuring 554 square feet, and go up to $1.1 million for a three-bedroom, two-bathroom unit spanning 1,251 square feet.
The median sales price for all homes in the neighborhood sits just under $1.6 million, according to Trulia, so the prices aren’t outrageous, especially for a new development.
Prolific Brooklyn architect Karl Fisher designed the condo building, and the apartments here come with large windows, white oak hardwood floors, stainless steel appliances in the kitchen, and white Caesarstone Quarts countertops. Some apartments here feature outdoor space either in the form of private terraces or glass balconies.

Amenities here include a landscaped roof terrace, a residents’ lounge with a flatscreen TV and a pool table, and on-site parking.
The project was first announced at the end of 2014 after Metropolitan Homes shelled out $940,000 on the property. The developer demolished three, detached, Victorian homes on the site to make way for the condo building. The structure topped out in January 2016, and the first set of residents will start moving in in August this year. Sales and marketing here are being handled by MNS.
