One half of the former full-floor apartment at 25 Bond Street in Noho has hit the market asking $12.9 million. Many years ago actor Will Smith rented the abode when it spanned the building’s entire fourth floor, paying a whopping $85,000/month. The massive unit sought to sell for $19.5 million following the Men in Black actor’s stint, however a lack of interest resulted in the home being split into two units. The east half managed to fetch over $9 million several years ago. This time, unit 4W will try its luck.
A lot has changed since Smith lived here. The three-bedroom, 3.5 bathroom condo has received a full renovation and the Architectural Digest pedigree. Per AD:
“When a bachelor and his 16-year-old son made the move from the Upper East Side to Bond Street in NoHo, they left the ornate antiques and the chandeliers dripping with crystal and hired designer Elena Frampton of Frampton Co to match their interiors to their hip new location.”

The result was a vast array of custom details and high-end finishes along with “chic vintage furniture” throughout the loft-like home. The open living room features a wood-burning fireplace and billiards table while the chef’s kitchen is bedecked with a custom 13-foot copper island, built-in stainless steel appliances, custom walnut cabinetry, and two wine refrigerators. From leather walls to spa-like bathrooms to a huge master dressing room, practically no detail has been spared here.
The space isn’t just pretty: it’s practical as well. There is a laundry room with a Miele washer and dryer, a private keyed elevator, built-in Sonos system, electric shades, and not one but two deed parking spaces.
The apartment isn’t overly generous when it comes to outdoor space but there is a sizable balcony accessed through the master bedroom.
