A group of low-rise stores along Brooklyn’s Third Avenue came down to make way for 8 Saint Marks Place, a 14-condo development by Barrett Design & Development that just launched sales from $895,000. Four of the building’s apartments are now on the market, with asking prices reaching up to $2.41 million for a two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment.

New renderings for the building show off sleek apartments with six-inch red oak plank floors, natural stone countertops, white oak cabinets, and private elevator access. Bathrooms come bedecked in porcelain tile and Grohe fixtures including rain shower heads. The condos also come with Bosch in-unit washers and dryers.

The building comes with a molded brick facade and staggered windows—we didn’t say it looks like Swiss cheese, you did—and includes a common roof deck and terraces off several of the apartments.

Barrett Design & Development purchased the site from Avery Hall Investments for $5.65 million in April 2015. The building is expected to be complete mid-year in 2018.
