The private multi-level terrace is truly amazing

Every so often we come across an apartment with a stunning outdoor space and this time around, it’s at this East Village duplex, asking $1.7 million. Yes, the price is steep, but if there is any justifying a seven figure apartment, this might be it.

Spanning 750 square feet, this co-op is lovely from one corner to the next. It has received a recent renovation that transformed it into an “oasis away from city living,” as the brokerbabble calls it. The open living room sits adjacent to the chef’s kitchen that’s been spruced up with sleek cabinets and fancy stainless steel appliances (Miele dishwasher, Fisher & Paykel refrigerator, and that sort of stuff). On the other side of the living room sits a stunning solarium that leads to the “outdoor sanctuary,” a landscaped multi-level terrace but more on that later.

The lower level hosts the apartment’s only bedroom, along with a stylish bathroom and a washer/dryer machine. There is also a walk-in closet (one of two within the apartment) within the master suite.

Getting back to the terrace, it’s just as enchanting as it sounds. The space has been paved in custom blue stones and ornamented with accent lighting. It also boasts an irrigation system and is pre-wired to accommodate a television.

Common charges are somehow really low at $532/month and taxes aren’t bad either at $575/month. Let the good times roll.
