Yesterday we asked you to guess the right price on this light-filled Chelsea home, and today we’re happy to announce that we do in fact have a winner: 042891, who guessed the correct amount of $625,000.
Several of our commenters came close this week with many guessing in the $600,000 to $700,000 range. Most of our commenters praised the apartment, particularly the amount of light it gets, the number of windows, and overall renovation of the place.
What they weren’t too happy about is the size of the bedroom. Though the brokerbabble says a king-size bed can comfortably fit in the room, our readers weren’t really buying it.
Some of our readers also pointed to the fact that this apartment was probably an alcove studio in the past, and has now been converted into a one-bedroom. This seems totally plausible considering the size of the co-op, and as Trilby16 points out, the way the living room window lines up with the bedroom wall.
Overall though, this Chelsea co-op seems to have gone down well, and with that it’s a wrap for this week’s edition of Pricespotter.
