With two TV series and a thriving real estate sales empire under his belt, Million Dollar Listing star and Elliman broker Fredrik Eklund is doing just fine. So fine, in fact, that the high-kicking, wine-producing agent has decided to invest in yet another of the properties he’s tasked to sell—1 Seaport.
Eklund’s nabbed an ambitious spread at the upcoming South Street Seaport tower. The 46th-floor duplex, in contract for $4.6 million, covers just shy of 2,000 square feet and comes with an open living area on the 46th floor, and two bedrooms with en suite bathrooms on the 47th floor. Both levels include a terrace that wraps around a corner of the building and floor-to-ceiling windows.
It isn’t the first time that Eklund’s paid up for a property he’s selling: He also doled out $5.3 million for a three-bedroom apartment with Hudson River views at Morris Adjmi’s 290 West Street in Tribeca just as it hit the market—with Eklund and partner John Gomes, of course—in 2014. (A few glorious Instagrams from the apartment have followed.)
Eklund says he hasn’t decided if he’ll maintain his apartment at 290 West. It, unlike 1 Seaport, does not come with a private yacht amenity, though Eklund’s probably too busy concurrently conquering the worlds of wine, New York real estate, and reality TV to even take advantage. Must be rough.
