Brooklyn is getting ready to celebrate LGBT pride in style with its 21st annual Twilight Pride Parade in Park Slope set to take place tonight at 7:30 p.m. A host of local officials are set to attend the event including Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams, Comptroller Scott Stringer, Public Advocate Letitia James, and several city council members, reports Park Slope Patch.
For those who would you to attend the parade (or even navigate through traffic around it), Google has your back. The search engine has incorporated a neat rainbow-colored parade route on its Google Map page that automatically appears, saving you the hassle of having to enter search words.
The 15-block parade route runs along Park Slope’s Fifth Avenue between Lincoln Place and Ninth Street and is guaranteed to affect traffic so here is a list of the official street closures from the city’s Department of Transportation:
The following streets will be closed Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. for the Brooklyn Pride Parade and Festival as permitted by the NYPD:

- Degraw Street between 4th Avenue and 5th Avenue
Route:
- 5th Avenue between Lincoln Place and 9th Street
Dispersal:
- 9th Street between 4th Avenue and 6th Avenue
