The two-bedroom can easily be converted into a three-bedroom

Welcome back to The Six-Digit Club, in which we take a look at a newish-to-market listing priced under $1 million, because nice things sometimes come in small packages. Send nominations to the tipline.

Located just a little over a block away from Sunset Park, this two-bedroom apartment is allegedly part of the the oldest housing cooperative in the United States, the Finnish Home Co-ops.

This spacious home is currently set up as a two-bedroom, but can be converted into a three-bedroom by coopting the dining room into an additional bedroom. Aside from that, this light-filled pre-war home comes with hardwood floors, nine-and-a-half-foot-tall ceilings, and large windows, some of which look out on to the common garden that’s part of the co-op.

In addition, residents at Finnish Home also have access to an Olympic-size swimming pool, a recreation center, and a sand volleyball court. For all of that, this cat-friendly co-op wants $645,000.
