Greenpoint’s New Warsaw Bakery-replacing condo buildings are now on the market from $1.57 million, and they’re going by a new name: 868 Lorimer on the park. The two-building project comprises of 14 apartments that come in two and three-bedroom variants.

One of the buildings fronts on Lorimer Street while the other fronts on Manhattan Avenue, and both are connected by a lush interior courtyard. The project was first announced in early 2015. It followed shortly after the New Warsaw Bakery decamped from its home of 25 years at 585 Manhattan Avenue, making way for the building to be sold.

That it did when it was picked up by the Chatham Development Company for $4.7 million. The two, six-story buildings recently topped out, and completion shouldn’t be too far off judging from the recent construction site photos.

Four apartments have appeared on StreetEasy so far. A two-bedroom, two-bathroom condo asking $1.57 million, another two-bedroom for $1.97 million, a third two-bedroom asking $2.17 million, and a three-bedroom that wants $2.7 million.

The project was designed by the Stephen B. Jacobs Group, and apartments here will come fitted with white oak plank flooring, kitchens will have custom Italian cabinetry, and and all the apartments will have private outdoor space.

Aside from the central courtyard, residents here will also have access to a communal workspace, a children’s playroom, a bicycle storage area, and of course, McCarren Park, which one of the two buildings overlooks. Residents will also have access to underground parking.
