Zaha Hadid’s futuristic High Line condo has done an impressive job sticking to schedule from the very start, and that’s true down to the building’s anticipated June move-ins. Two condos in the pricey 39-condo building closed in late June, 6sqft first reported, meaning two buyers at 520 West 28th Street were cleared to move their earthly belongings into the building that New York magazine writer Carl Swanson wrote looks like “the delightful Earth home for the weary intergalactic superrich.”
Residence 9, a two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment, sold over its asking price of $5.975 million for $6,033,271 to the anonymous Balogh Company, Inc. Residence 14, another two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment, also sold slightly over its asking price of $6.195 million for $6,198,750 to Rm Zaha, LLC. Both apartments are in the same line of the building, with Residence 9 on the fifth floor and Residence 14 on the seventh floor. Developer Related Companies did not respond to inquiries about future closings by the time of publish.
StreetEasy lists 22 active sales in the building, 11 of which are in contract. Still up for grabs is the building’s lauded $50 million triplex penthouse.
