Welcome back to The Six-Digit Club, in which we take a look at a newish-to-market listing priced under $1 million, because nice things sometimes come in small packages. Send nominations to the tipline.

Brokerbabble befittingly calls this lofty duplex condo the “most unique hideaway in Carroll Gardens” and a “rare treat for a creative soul.” Though it may be a tad bit dramatic, admittedly we kind of agree. The two-bedroom, two-bathroom home is loaded with avant-garde details and its $875,000 asking price makes this place practically a steal.

A set of French door leads into the living room, decorated with black and white jacquard wall paper, a yellow accent wall, and a ceiling with glass panes. The kitchen is small and is not the fanciest but offers lots of cabinet space, though not much else.

The open area on the lower level boasts floor-to-ceiling windows, original hardwood floors, and a sun-filled library with glass block walls. A set of stairs leads to the upper level where both of the modest sized bedrooms reside. More eye-catching details like arched entryways, beamed ceilings, exposed brick walls, and built-in shelves can be found on the upper level as well.

Common charges are a mere $174/month and monthly taxes aren’t bad either at $515/month.
