Welcome back to The Six-Digit Club, in which we take a look at a newish-to-market listing priced under $1 million, because nice things sometimes come in small packages. Send nominations to the tipline.

By now, it’s no secret that Ditmas Park has a seemingly endless supply of charming and historic homes but who knew that the neighborhood was stashing lovely prewar apartments on a budget, too?

Brokerbabble calls this two-bedroom condo on Dorchester Road a “rare find” and we get why. The prewar home occupies the top floor of the building and boasts an open layout with three exposures and plenty of character, all for the asking price of $450,000. What’s even better, the home has received a few modern updates that create a nice medley of classic charm and modern convenience.

The light-filled living room is expansive and large enough to allow for a spacious dining room. In the windowed kitchen, stainless steel appliances, tile backsplash, and new cabinetry are all products of a recent renovation. The kitchen isn’t a true eat-in but there is a counter that overlooks the living room.

Both bedrooms are sizable and appointed with large windows that allow for an even larger feel. Storage space is decent overall, with the condo providing five closets throughout.

Common charges will only set you back $303/month and taxes are $350/month.
