A little over a month after leasing got underway, the developers behind Long Island City’s The Forge are now showing off the model homes of the 38-story rental building. The model homes are representative of the different apartment sizes the building at 44-28 Purves Street has to offer: studios, one-bedrooms, and two-bedrooms.

Rents at the Brause Realty and Gotham Organization start at a pricey $2,485/month for a studio, and apartments here come with a “Feng Shui certified layout.” All apartments here also have KitchenAid and Bosch appliances, Quartz kitchen countertops, white oak flooring, and washers and dryers in-unit.

As for amenities, there are 26,000 square feet of them. They include an outdoor pool, and movie theater, a rooftop lounge, a fitness center, a sculpture garden, and a children’s playroom, among many other features.

The FXFOWLE-designed building has been in the works since at least 2015. The 38-story tower topped out in September last year, and move-ins are now underway.
