Big reveal: $475K for a prewar Upper East Side studio with a modern twist

The price for this week’s Pricespotter apartment, a sizable Upper East Side studio that’s been given a spiffy revamp is $475,000. Within the first guess, commenter JEG10021 was able to hit the nail on the head and come up with the right price, as was coleco.

Many of the other guesses were in close range and while there were a few folks who didn’t like the layout, most people seemed to agree with the floorplan. “I think this isn’t bad, as far as a studio apartment space is concerned,” says modmother, though slightly perplexed by the ceiling that surrounds the kitchen.

All things considered, the apartment is low-fuss and its location at East 77th Street between First and Second avenues, puts it just five blocks away from the Second Avenue Subway’s 72nd Street station.
