Buyer of $50M penthouse at 15 CPW adds 432 Park condo to his collection

Because one multimillion dollar apartment just wasn’t enough

It was only three months ago when wealthy Hong Kong banker Gongwen Dong dropped $50 million on a penthouse at 15 Central Park West but apparently, having one multimillion dollar Manhattan apartment wasn’t enough. The Real Deal reports that Dong is now the proud owner of a $38 million condo within Rafael Viñoly’s 432 Park Avenue.

Dong snagged up unit 86A within the supertall, a 4,028-square-foot home with three bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, and the unobstructed views of Central Park that the building is famous for. It’s other features include a private elevator, a library, an eat-in kitchen, and ceiling that sprawl more than 12 feet high.

As for his 5,300-square-foot penthouse at 15 Central Park West, well Dong is looking to make some rental income off of that home and it is currently listed for the cool price of $80,000/month.

Sometimes you need to look at life from the other side, and in this case Dong can get his Central Park views from Manhattan’s west or east side. Must be nice.
