Red Hook gains two more multimillion dollar townhouses

Around the corner from Red Hook’s King & Sullivan townhouses, more pricey projects sprout

Red Hook has only recently become a destination for multimillion dollar luxury properties—think 160 Imlay, the King & Sullivan townhouses, and a few one-off townhouses with high price tags and architectural intrigue—and it doesn’t seem like that will be slowing down any time soon. Just look at Van Brunt Street, where every corner seems to be sprouting a new residential building. One of those projects new to rise along the neighborhood’s main drag just hit the market, and no surprise here, it’s two townhouses priced in the millions.

The townhouses at 307 and 309 Van Brunt Street, at the corner of King Street, try to capitalize on the neighborhood’s culture. A press release announcing the townhouses from listing agent Ideal Properties Group notes their “artistic industrial details and contemporary finishes evoke Red Hook’s historic past and match the neighborhood’s contemporary culture.” Make no mistake, the townhouses are thoroughly contemporary with open plan layouts, white Caesarstone waterfall countertops, high-end appliances, and free-standing tubs in the master bathrooms.

Both townhouses are divided into two apartments: An owner’s portion that includes thee bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms, and a lock-off two-bedroom rental apartment. Both townhouses come with onsite parking. Only one of the townhouses has been officially listed, 309 Van Brunt Street, which is on the market for $3.3 million. Take a peek inside Red Hook’s new addition, below.
