The long-in-the-works condo cantilevering over First Avenue’s Rite Aid, in the East Village, has now launched sales from $995,000. 75 First Avenue is an eight-story condo building located on First Avenue, between East 4th and 5th Streets.

The project has been in development for over a decade now, but it wasn’t until 2015 that it finally got underway in earnest after the developer, the Colonnade Group, bought out the partnering developers on the project.

Earlier this year, a new design, by Stefano Pasqualetti and Thomas O’Hara, was unveiled, and the project has been steadily making progress since. Now, four of the building’s 22 condos have come on the market: a one-bedroom asking $995,000, another one-bedroom asking $1.79 million, and two two-bedrooms asking $1.96 million, and $2.25 million respectively.

The building features a mix of one, two, and three-bedroom apartments, and some of the standout elements of the condos include the floor-to-ceiling windows, the eight-inch oak flooring, white Carrara marble countertops and backsplashes in the kitchen, along with appliances by Miele.

Amenities offered to residents include a landscaped roof deck, a lounge with a fireplace, pool table, and bar, bicycle storage, and a fitness center. Earlier this year it was estimated that work on the condo would wrap by the end of this year, but it’s likely that work will carry on into 2018. Nest Seekers International is handling sales and marketing on the project.
