Just a few months after the building topped out, 70 Vestry is now almost entirely clad in its limestone (signature Robert A.M. Stern) facade, new construction site photos by NyConstructionPhoto, have revealed. This particular limestone is known as Beaumaniere limestone, and was quarried on the banks of the Seine River, south of Paris.
The Related Companies-developed building stands 14 stories tall and comes with just 46 apartments. The building has most notably been in the news for being the future home of Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady.
Back in April, 80 percent of the apartments here had sold, and of the ones that remain on the market right now, prices range from $7.95 million for a three-bedroom, three-bathroom unit, and go up to $26 million for a six-bedroom, seven-bathroom home.
In January this year, the building’s $50 million penthouse went into contract, and that was followed by the pricier $65 million penthouse going into contract last month. Construction on this Tribeca condo is expected to wrap sometime next year.
