Welcome back to The Six-Digit Club, in which we take a look at a newish-to-market listing priced under $1 million, because nice things sometimes come in small packages. Send nominations to the tipline.
On Billionaires’ Row, this 12th floor apartment at 301 West 57th Street is probably what constitutes “affordable,” on the street. Located right next to Columbus Circle, the one-bedroom condo is a south-facing unit, and gets a decent amount of light from the two exposures in the apartment.
And while this condo might seem “affordable,” for Billionaires’ Row, it is anything but when you consider some of the facts about the unit. It is currently on the market for $925,000, but the one-bedroom pad measures just 536 square feet. That works out to a pretty steep $1,725 price per square foot.
But living on this street, and in this building does have its perks of course. Residents in the building have access to a swimming pool, a gym, a sun deck on the sixth floor of the 56-story building, and a residents lounge.
