The views of the Empire State Building don’t get any better than this

Welcome back to The Six-Digit Club, in which we take a look at a newish-to-market listing priced under $1 million, because nice things sometimes come in small packages. Send nominations to the tipline.

It’s difficult to find flaws with this 600-square-foot studio on West 23rd Street between Sixth and Seventh avenues in Chelsea. Aside from its great location, the co-op is a duplex loft with a spiffy new renovation and it’s asking $698,000.

Prewar details have maintained their presence within the redesigned Chelsea Mews abode. In the light and spacious living room, beamed ceilings soar close to 12 feet high and there are a set of two built-in bookshelves that sit on each side of the decorative brick fireplace. The oversized windows look directly out onto the Empire State building, giving stellar views of Midtown’s skyline.

On the main floor, you’ll also find a sleek kitchen that has been given white lacquered cabinets and stainless steel appliances. While there isn’t a formal dining space, the living room is large enough to accommodate a dining room table with a few chairs.

A few daunting stairs lead to the expansive sleep alcove and its adjacent storage space that measures 55 square feet. The bathroom is bedecked in white marble floors and a wall of mirrors. Closet space isn’t bad either with three large closets located on the main floor in addition to the upper level storage space.
