Welcome back to The Six-Digit Club, in which we take a look at a newish-to-market listing priced under $1 million, because nice things sometimes come in small packages. Send nominations to the tipline.
The brokerbabble for this Upper West Side co-op touts the home as a space that will make you “feel that you have gone to the country for a quiet weekend,” and dramatic as it may sound, we actually agree.
Though the square footage isn’t specified, listing photos and the floorplan give the impression that the apartment, asking $795,000, is quite generously spaced. The one-bedroom, one-bathroom abode has been renovated to provide an updated kitchen and new bathroom, but there is still lots of charm by way of features like exposed brick walls and a wood-burning fireplace.
The apartment’s entrance takes you right into the dining room, neighbored by the kitchen and a small desk area before leading into the sunken living room where there is access to the spacious private terrace. Admittedly, the bedroom is narrow and not very spacious, measuring just nine feet wide.
There are four large closets that provide ample storage space and while the apartment doesn’t have its own washer/dryer machine, there is a laundry room as part of the building’s amenity package. Not to mention the building is in a great location, less than a block away from Central Park.
Common charges aren’t terrible at $871/month.
