A new condo building rising amid the townhouses of Carroll Gardens launched sales today, where three- and four-bedroom apartments will be priced from $2.295 million. The building at 145 President Street is the work of Avery Hall Investments, who acted as both developer and architect on the 17-apartment project.

The building’s design is inspired by Scandinavian modernism, with its handmade Danish brick facade, open and airy floorplans, and muted interior palettes (read: lots of white oak). Most of the apartments in the building are three- and four-bedrooms, almost half of which will feature private outdoor spaces. The development also has one two-bedroom, two penthouses, and two garden condos.

For a neighborhood chock-full of young families, the apartments here are sized accordingly. Four of 145 President’s condos hit the market this morning ranging from a 1,432-square-foot three-bedroom asking $2.445 million to a 2,154-square-foot four-bedroom with a 1,646-square-foot terrace on the market for $3.795 million.

A little bit about the interiors: floors and kitchen cabinets will both be in white oak (gotta love that Scandi-inspired design), and light gray marbles will dominate with a Tundra Gray slab marble countertop in the kitchen, and honed Danube marble walls and Bianco Dolomite herringbone floors in the master bathrooms.

The building will also offer up amenities like a shared rooftop, parking on request, gym with Peloton live-streaming stationary bikes, and storage for each of the apartments.
