Seth Meyers has a buyer for his modest West Village two-bedroom

The actor and his wife purchased a larger duplex near Washington Square Park in 2016

Update, 10/30/17: That didn’t take long: Just over a month after listing his West Village condo, Late Night host Seth Meyers has already found a buyer for the pad. According to the latest Olshan Report, the two-bedroom apartment went into contract at its full $4.5 million ask, though it remains to be seen how much it will ultimately sell for.

Late Night host and former “Weekend Update” anchor Seth Meyers and wife Alexi have listed their two-bedroom West Village condo for $4.5 million, Mansion Global reports (h/t 6sqft). The Meyerses picked up the 12th floor apartment on West 12th Street in 2013 for $3.525 million.

The couple certainly brought a little restrained glamor to the 994-square-foot pad. Since the Meyerses purchased the condo, the sunken living room’s wood-burning fireplace has been reframed in a dramatic, but subtle black stone surround. The couple also renovated the kitchen with a more open floorplan, white cabinetry with brass pulls, a wine refrigerator, and a farmhouse sink. (For a pre-reno look at the apartment, click here.)

But one of the biggest overhauls in the apartment happened in the master suite, where the floorplan was reworked to include a large steam shower in the master bathroom, and two walk-in closets.

New York real estate followers may remember that Meyers plunked down $7.5 million on a glorious 10-room duplex close to Washington Square Park, formerly the home of Weeds actress Mary-Louise Parker, in 2016. At that, the hunt for a new apartment for The Meyerses is probably off the table.
