First of 15 Hudson Yards’s lavish penthouses hits the market for $32M

The first condos within the Hudson Yards megaproject, at 15 Hudson Yards, hit the market just about a year ago, albeit with a notable exception: the four crowning penthouses atop the skyscraper were not part of the initial batch of listings. But as of today, one of those pricey penthouses—#88B, asking a whopping $32 million—is officially up for grabs.

To date, this is the priciest—and largest—of the apartments within 15 Hudson Yards to hit the market. The duplex penthouse clocks in at 5,161 square feet, and while it doesn’t have outdoor space, it does have impressive views (and will sit nearly 900 feet in the air). The listing notes that this particular apartment is located on the southwest corner of the building, so it’ll look down on Thomas Heatherwick’s Vessel, along with the public park that’s coming to Hudson Yards.

As for the particulars, the so-called “trophy penthouse” has four bedrooms, six and a half bathrooms, a double-height “great room” (with 26-foot ceilings), an open-concept (and custom-designed) kitchen/family room, and a master suite with two walk-in closets and two bathrooms.

The apartment also comes with access to the building’s myriad over-the-top amenities, including several common spaces for residents, a 75-foot swimming pool, a private spa and fitness center, and private dining rooms.

The building, which is designed by Diller Scofidio + Renfro in collaboration with David Rockwell, is moving right along, construction-wise, and is still on track for completion sometime next year.
