The COOKFOX-designed affordable development is Bronx’s Tremont neighborhood has now launched the lottery on the second building in this two-building development at Park Avenue and East 178th Street.
This second building has 80 studios up for grabs, each renting for $675 per month, and open to individuals making between $25,029 and $40,080 annually. This particular building is known as the Webster Residences, and in addition to the affordable apartments, the building will also have supportive housing, and social service on site.
The first of the two buildings, known as Park House, launched its housing lottery on 227 affordable apartments in February last year. Over 55,000 people applied to live at the project, which was developed by Breaking Ground, in conjunction with the Webster Residences. Park House opened its doors to residents in October last year, and now the Webster Residences building is ready to follow.
Residents here will have access to a fitness room, a garden, a computer lab, laundry on-site, and bicycle storage. Prospective tenants have until March 20 this year to apply.
