Welcome back to The Six-Digit Club, in which we take a look at a newish-to-market listing priced under $1 million, because nice things sometimes come in small packages. Send nominations to the tipline.

It might take a little effort to see beyond the purple walls, furniture, drapes, and decorative pieces of this Riverside Drive apartment, but underneath is a perfectly attractive little pad.

The 600-square-foot co-op is technically a studio, but there’s no Murphy bed or pullout couch here: Instead, a separate enclosed nook off of the foyer provides enough room for a small bed. (The listing says it’s a queen-sized room, but that seems like a stretch.) Because the room is windowless, it can’t technically be called a bedroom.

Floorplan weirdness aside, the spacious sunken living and dining room has a casement window, a charming decorative mantle, beamed ceilings, and herringbone wood floors. The kitchen has been updated with a glass tile backsplash and stainless steel appliances, and the bathroom follows suit with a glass tub and shower enclosure.

The co-op is on the market with Corcoran for $599,000, with maintenance running $1,000/month.
