Now hiring: Curbed NY reporter

New, 2 comments

Come work with us!

All good things must come to an end, and in this case, it means that Curbed NY’s longtime reporter, Tanay Warerkar, is moving on to greener pastures. He will be sorely missed—and if you’ve got any good tips for him, the time to pass ‘em along is now.

What this means: We’re officially vetting applicants for a new reporter for Curbed NY. We’re looking for someone to own the beats this site treasures: housing, transportation, architecture, new developments, and the like. Our ideal candidate is someone who is obsessed with New York City and all of the things that make this place tick. This person should have a few years of experience in a newsroom, and should be hungry for breaking news—they’ll be responsible for original reporting, as well as working on occasional features with longer lead times.

Interested? Refer to the complete job posting for details on requirements and responsibilities, and apply via Greenhouse. (Don’t forget a cover letter, CV, and relevant clips.)
