After topping out in December, Vessel, the Thomas Heatherwick-designed interactive sculpture that centers Hudson Yards, is now looking to boost excitement for its anticipated spring 2019 debut by allowing folks to sign up for early ticket notification (yes, really).

Tickets for the 2,500-step installation will become available in February, and there will be dedicated time slots when the installation debuts, reports 6sqft. Signing up now can help secure one of the “limited quantity” tickets when they become available.

The $200 million sculpture is situated at the center of the public square within the megadevelopment and consists of 154 interconnected staircases that create a mile of climbable pathways, 80 landings, and 2,500 steps throughout. The installation is hoping to serve as the “Eiffel Tower of New York City,” but only time will tell if that works out as planned.
