Architect Karim Rashid’s colorful Midtown townhouse is back on the market, albeit, with a price cut. Rashid first listed the townhouse—which is really a treasure trove of his quirky, whimsical creations—for $4.75 million in February 2017. Rashid eventually decided to rent it out, and now, about 18 months later, he’s decided to put it on the market again. The duplex has taken just a bit of a price cut, and is now asking $4.45 million.

The townhouse, which is part of the Dillon condo building in Hell’s Kitchen, measures 2,767 square feet, and comes with four bedrooms, and three and a half bathrooms. The townhouse opens on the ground floor, which comes with a 20-foot-wide living area, and 13-foot-tall ceilings. Floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room look out on to a 700-square-foot backyard, which offers up plenty of space for outdoor seating. The townhouse’s open-plan kitchen is also on this floor, and is fitted with a Miele appliance package, white quartz countertops, and under-cabinet lighting.

The master bedroom is located on the upper level and comes with a walk-in closet and an ensuite bath. The latter features marble flooring with radiant heating, and a rain shower. Two other bedrooms are also located on this floor, and they both come with ensuite bathrooms. A fourth bedroom is located next to the entrance on the lower level.

A basement offers up additional space, and can be used as a multi-purpose room, according to the broker on the listing. The townhouse’s washer and dryer are located on this floor, as is a half bathroom. Residents at the Dillon also have access to a fitness center, a lounge, a dining hall with a catering kitchen, a common terrace, and a kids playroom.
