Nearly three years after it was first announced, the affordable housing development in East New York calling itself Van Sinderen Plaza has now launched the lottery on its 121 affordable apartments.

The apartments at this development—which is spread out between two buildings at 679 Van Sinderen Avenue and 180 New Lots Avenue respectively—come in one through three-bedroom variants. Prices start at $413/month for a one-bedroom and go as high as $1,281/month for a three-bedroom.

The affordable units here are being offered in four different income bands: 30, 40, 50, and 60 percent of the area median income. This can translate to anywhere between $16,629 to $72,600 annually in order to be eligible for the affordable apartments.

Residents at Van Sinderen Plaza will also have access to numerous amenities including a roof deck, a recreation room, outdoor space, bicycle storage, a coin-operated laundry, an on-site super, and parking (this is available for additional fees).

The dual, seven-story buildings were developed by MacQuesten Development, and designed by Gluck+. Prospective tenants have until December 28, 2018 to apply.
