Yes, you read that correctly

When it comes to New York City real estate, there is no shortage of homes asking upwards of $2.7 million but we can almost assure you that you won’t find many within the five boroughs like this one in Todt Hill, Staten Island.

The brokerbabble describes this four-bedroom, five-bathroom abode as a “countryside mansion that blends modern amenities with sylvan charm” and it’s a pretty accurate description.

It’s cute cobble stone exterior leads into a large foyer with double-height ceilings and a staircase that is crowned by a skylight. In the living room, ceilings rise 23 feet high (!) and boasts oversized windows along with one of the home’s five wood-burning fireplaces.

An open-concept kitchen sits across from the living room and is complete with high-end stainless steel appliances, a sizable island, tons of cabinets, and hardwood floors. There is an adjacent dining room as well as a large family room with yet another fireplace. The main level also gives way to a laundry room, office (with a fireplace, of course), a bedroom, and access to the two-car garage.

The upper level is where you will find the master suite that features two walk-in closets, a bathroom with a sauna, and a balcony. Two smaller bedrooms also populate this floor while the lower level accommodates a recreation room, two fireplaces, and plenty of storage space.

Naturally, the 6,250-square-foot enclave would include plenty of outdoor space, and it is definitely something to marvel at. There is an extensive driveway, a huge backyard patio, an inground pool, hot tub, and our favorite—a private lake. Said lake can be viewed from the master bedroom’s balcony, the oversized living room windows, and both the family and dining rooms.

Asking price is $2.73 million.
