This Chelsea two-bedroom has gotten quite a makeover in the nearly three years since it last sold, for $795,000. Previously, the space was a little drab with a kitchen that was functional, but outdated (and very much about the wood cabinetry).

But after being “meticulously renovated” by the current owners, it’s got a much more contemporary feel: The kitchen is now all polished white and walnut, with a center island that also has a washer and a dishwasher; the bathroom has been similarly updated, with new tiles and storage space.

Though it’s billed as a two-bedroom, the second of those spaces is rather small, and would probably work as a nursery (as it’s currently being used) or home office. The rest of the space has some of the apartment’s original details (like exposed brick) along with some new finishes, including custom wainscoting and new floors.
